Teams allow you group Orgs and users together. Teams also allow you to share selective Orgs with a customer or partner.
Note: For simplicity, some clients opt to keep a single Team for their data - consult with us before you consider using multiple teams.
Example: Say you are a large distributor and you have a vendor that has 5 different companies or divisions you do business with. You can create a team with only those 5 companies and then invite your vendor (role: User) to mbrella and restrict his access by assigning them to your newly created Team.
Key rules for Teams:
- An Organization can belong to MULTIPLE teams
- A User is assigned to ONE team
Bulk Assignment of Orgs to Teams:
On the Org Search page, you can select all/some Orgs and assign a batch of Orgs to a Team. This also works on the Org Child search if you want to limit your search.
